Each in-clinic session of LED Light Facial Therapy takes around 30 minutes to complete.
In most cases, a multiple-treatment course is recommended.
The number of treatments is determined following a clinical consultation.
However, a single therapy session can be enough for great results.
In a majority of cases, the visible results are seen immediately.
However, on average, full results require a few days to appear.
The results of LED Light Facial Therapy can be long-lasting with proper care and multiple sessions.
An LED (light–emitting diode) face mask is used to deliver target light waves for the therapy to work.
This face mask has three different settings which have specific healing capabilities. The settings used in your treatment will vary depending on your needs and the condition of your skin.
Red LED (650 – 730nm) light waves is responsible for reduced fine lines and wrinkles, reduced age spots and sun damage, increased collagen, and reduced overall redness, flushing and dilated capillaries. Results are often immediate.
Blue LED (430 – 450nm) light waves attack PP-9, producing singlet oxygen. This form of oxygen is very toxic to the bacteria that cause acne, therefore decreasing acne with absolutely no downtime.
Mixed LED This setting combines the Blue and Red LED lights mentioned above, changing between the two. This ensures that you get the most out of the treatment.
