EMSculpt

An intense contraction, controlled from outside the body.

Applicators are secured over a suitable area and deliver electromagnetic pulses that cause repeated muscle contractions. The intensity is increased progressively and adjusted to your comfort.

Areas may include the abdomen, buttocks, thighs, calves or upper arms. It is not a replacement for exercise, rehabilitation or weight management, and outcomes vary.

No planned downtime

Expect effort without impact.

The muscles work hard during treatment and can feel tired or sore afterwards, much like they might after exercise.

A progressive course

Built around safe intensity, not headline percentages.

A typical introductory plan uses four appointments, often separated by two or three days. Your practitioner will set the intensity for the selected area and review comfort and response.

Temporary muscle soreness, fatigue, cramping or redness can occur. Metal or electronic implants and some medical conditions may make treatment unsuitable, so a complete health assessment matters.

How does EMSculpt work?

External applicators deliver electromagnetic pulses that trigger repeated contractions in the muscles beneath them. Treatment intensity is increased gradually and controlled by the practitioner.

Which areas can be treated?

Depending on suitability and the applicators available, areas may include the abdomen, buttocks, thighs, calves and upper arms.

How many appointments are typical?

A common introductory course is four appointments, often two or three days apart. The suitable schedule depends on the area, your health and response.

What does treatment feel like?

It feels like strong, repeated muscle contractions with rest phases between them. The sensation can be intense but settings can be adjusted.

Can it replace exercise?

No. It should not replace regular movement, strength training, rehabilitation or a sustainable approach to health and weight management.

Who may not be suitable?

People with certain metal or electronic implants, pregnancy or some medical conditions may be unsuitable. A practitioner must review your health before treatment.

Are there side effects?

Temporary muscle fatigue, soreness, cramping or redness can occur. Your practitioner will explain aftercare and when to seek advice.
